My name's Matt and I started researching the Coseley Avenue of Remembrance in 2010. I live close to Sedgley Beacon and I have a great interest in the whole of the Sedgley Manor area past and present, as well as the Black Country in general.

As you will see from the lists of servicemen, a few of them don't have a rank or date of death shown as I was unable to find them.  There were also a few men remembered on Coseley memorials who I couldn't trace to the district, but this doesn't mean that they didn't live there at some point after the 1911 census.  If anyone has any further information on these servicemen, and if anyone is a relative of them, I would be very interested in hearing from you.  My e-mail address is mattm7924@gmail.com
